Traveled with children

This was my first cruise. My in-laws had taken my whole family for their 50th wedding anniversary. My husband and I shared one room and my kids and my sister-in-law were next door in an adjoining room. I felt that the rooms were spacious. Embarking, even though it was Fleet Week and the Port was packed, was fine after we found people to take our bags onto the ship.

The service to our rooms and everywhere, really, was impeccable and I was totally spoiled all week long. My son, who is 10, learning the art of napkin folding and liked the animals that came in the shape of towels everyday on the beds. The staff were especially friendly to my children and were quick to answer our questions about their homeland. They work like dogs!

The entertainment was Broadway-quality. My son never missed a show and he absolutely couldn't get enough of Colin Kerr, the CD. My in-laws had taken the Norwegian Crown to Bermuda last summer and said that the shows were like amateur night compared to the Dawn.
