Overall, this was a great cruise on a great ship! My hubby and I took this cruise as an anniversary present to ourselves. We decided to take our 14 month old (at time of sailing) so he was added about two months before the departure date. I called and upgraded us to a Grand Suite about two weeks before the cruise due to a big drop in the price. This was the best decision ever!

Our cabin (U87) was great and our room steward was amazing! Having a bath tub for our son was a great decision because I'm not sure how we would have made it work with a blow up tub in a smaller room. The cabin was clean and the steward was very attentive. There were some areas of the ship that showed a little wear and tear, but that's to be expected since it's been two and a half years since the last dry dock. She's getting a small refurb at the beginning of January so the little places on the carpet and some of the rust spots will be gone in a few weeks.

The service was amazing all over the ship. We encountered a few crew members who didn't seem to be having a good day, but that's to be expected with any employees who deal with a large number of people day in and day out. 99% of the time we only saw smiles from most of the crew though. Like usual, everybody remembered our names and our preferences. Everybody we passed interacted with our son and it just made his cruise. He made so many friends during the 5 days we were on board.

Very quiet and in a great location! Not far from the elevators and little food traffic during the day and night. The view is great despite the balcony extension starting at the rear of the balcony. You can look over the rail and see straight out, down and to the bow of the ship. Bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and granite counter tops around the room.

There is a privacy curtain that separates the bed from the rest of the room to make you feel like it's two different rooms when you're sleeping. The closet has a lot of space compared to a regular cabin. The cabin itself has a ton of drawers and storage space along with a mini fridge that contains a mini bar if you choose to use it. The fridge can be emptied if you choose to use it for something else.

They also have ports where you can connect an iPod, laptop, DVD player or other electronic device to the TV.
