Norwegian Epic Cruise Review by jcrowd: PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE
Overall Member Rating
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Firstly, I have to say that I am in the marine industry. Specifically luxury megayachts and the custom boating industry. My expectations of service and of the cruising experience varies from most people. That being said I was blown away by the true "service culture" Norwegian has achieved with their staff and by the enviroment created by their "Freestyle Cruising". The system simply works. They have achieved a unique blend of freedom and luxury that is hard to come by unless you are lucky enough to afford your own vessel. The staff was just fantastic and obviously loves what they do and who they represent. From the captain right down to the laundry room worker everyone was part of the team and in my experience such a blend of pride and work ethic is hard to find. Norwegian should be proud of what they have achieved and I, for one, would love some pointers on how they did it. Simply remarkable.
The entertainment was top notch and the food was fantastic. It didn't matter whether More you chose to eat at Garden Cafe or Cagney's Steak House the food was fresh and delicious. Not having to adhere to anyone's schedule but our own was priceless. We went to relax and have fun and that's exactly what happened. I have already booked a cruise on their new ship Breakaway and can't wait to continue what will be a long and happy relationship with Norwegian. It not only was a remarkable value but a remarkable experience.
Thank you Norwegian and thanks to the truly epic crew of the Epic. Less
