This was our fourth or fifth Celebrity Soltice class cruise and our third in Aqua class. We are early retirees, gay and partnered for 36 years; we enjoy the quality of the Soltice experience; the realization that one 'knows' where everything is on the ship, and the sheer pleasure of experiencing the fine dining opportunities available.
Our first transatlantic experience provided us with the opportunity of seven days at sea and also led us to believe that we are not 'transatlantic types' but rather more port-oriented; still this cruise was more than worth it.
Since Aqua class maintains its own restaurant - Blu - we ate there exclusively and enjoyed the quality of the menu, the expert wait service, and the friendliness of the staff. Having dined in the specialty Tuscano and Qsine on prior cruises we did not avail ourselves of the opportunity - 'been there done that'. We did dine at Murano - the classic French restaurant - several times and each dinner's superb quality was exceeded each time!
