Excellant. The Royal Suite accommodation. Basically a hotel suite on water.
The butler Tague and the room attendant Armed. By far the best trained and presented of any cruise we have been on. Anticipated rather than have to be asked.
Cleanliness throughout the ship
Staff overall.
Very Good
The price of goods in the shops. Some about half of that on the land.
Hint Wait for the sales later in the cruise. 40-50% off was common
Average
Quality of food on board. Plenty of it but
Poor
Communications: Beware boarding time is a tiered approach. The higher up on the ship the earlier your boarding is. Was not informed of this by Celebrity until 48 hours prior to boarding. A bit late to change air flights booked 30 days in advance.
Shuttle service. Its been reported before.
Drinks package: Not worth the money unless you are like my brother in law who would use his quota by breakfast. Drink prices surprisingly were the same as on land
Hint Buy the 355mill wine carafe. It was very good Californian for $11
Cocktails and Spirits about $7-8 a glass.
Land packages.
Very expensive.
Hint. Go ashore you will find local operators at half the cost. We did.
Overall impression
This is a big ship with 3000 guests. We had a very good suite, and paid for that experience. We felt on our cruise the public areas were swamped with guests reading or sleeping. We retreated to out lounge room, a privilege most did not share.
The Oceanview buffet was generally overfull requiring my wife to wait at the table when one became available so not to lose it.This was unacceptable.
We will not be repeating our experience on these larger ships again
