This was my first time on the NCL Star. Had done this route many times before on different NCL Ships.
The staff/officers/crew were all very friendly and worked very hard. The ship is wonderful and clean throughout. Signed up for the meet & greet and got a free bridge tour which made my day. Bernado, the singing cook, is a must see in the Market Cafe. Ate most days in the Market Cafe buffet which offered a tasty Indian section which caters for fellow vegetarians.
Enjoyed the Welcome back to the ship party in Cozumel. Both the NCL Star and Pearl crew out on a port side dance party welcoming us back to the ship.
Next time, I would avoid the aft cabins on Deck 8. These are above Spinnaker lounge and can create music noise at night. Pedro, the cruise director, did request that they keep the base levels down after I complained. Would recommend bringing some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me.
Make sure that you don't miss the show called "Elements" as it it is the best show on the boat.
Can't wait for my return to the ship next April.
