Great Getaway
This is the second cruise that I've taken with RCCL and it was just as great as the first one.

To start off, my partner had never been on a cruise and finally gave into the constant requests to book one. We both did not have much time so he found a short 4 day cruise on RCCL to the Bahamas.

Knowing that the Monarch was an older ship, I was not expecting the same amenities as my past cruise. Although the room was a JS, it was the same size as the balcony room I had on my last cruise, but it was clean and nice. The view was great!!

The service was amazing! My partner has a food allergy and every night he was presented with a special menu from which he could order, the staff took great care to ensure that he felt accommodated. What really took the service to the next level was when the head waiter had the chef make a special desert for our whole table as none of the desert selections were an option for my partner. Now that is service!

I was disappointed we were not able to go to Coco Cay as the winds were too rough, but the staff kept the day filled with activities. We booked an excursion before we left for the cruise in the Bahamas and it was on time and fun filled. The entertainment at night was a little cheesy, but still fun! The piano player though in the schooner bar was AMAZING and took her time to talk with me and play my requests!

We have already booked our next two cruises with RCCL. One of them will be this exact itinerary in May! I highly recommend RCCL because of the service of the staff and the enjoyable atmosphere!
