We arrived the day before embarkation and stayed at La Quinta Inn at Cocoa Beach. It was decent and they offered 40% off parking at the port. The next morning we headed over to Port Canaveral and arrived about 10:30ish, we got checked in and they started boarding at 11 am. The ship was decorated for Christmas and is beautiful. This was our first time on Freedom and while it is a big ship and holds a lot of passengers and crew, you never feel crowded.

Our suite was nice, actually bigger than the hotel room. It is located just in front of the whirlpool. You could occassionally hear chairs being moved, but nothing disturbing.

We ate breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer. It was usually good. They always have a lot to offer, so if you get something you don't like, just go back and get something else. We had the 8 pm seating in the dining room. I had emailed the dining room to request a table by the window and we were surprised that not only was it a table buy the window, but also a rare table for two! Again food was good, several time we couldn't choose one specific appetizer so we had two. And as always, if you don't like what you've ordered, they will bring you something else.

We were in suite 1260. It is just before the whirlpool. We heard some noise from the solarium. It was spacious, had a huge bathroom and large balcony.
