I have traveled with Carnival about 20 times and now it has taken a drastic turn for the worse.
Menu changes .... no more rack of lamb, no more pork chops, no more roasted pig buffet, no more
Prime Beef. Salmon overcooked, chocolate melting cake overcooked, no more cheesecake at the buffet, no more quality !!! Caesar salad tasteless with iceberg added to fill it up. Ha!!
The ship was not well maintained .... it's an older ship, but could be a lot cleaner.
The cruise director, Steve, has decided that he is a major star !! He has put himself into all the shows and is the fiddler, the violinist, and now the juggler. I did not come on board to see the Steve show.
Also, to get into Grand CAYMAN ..... NO MORE RAMP,,,, walk down stairs to get on the tender. Lots of stairs. Hate to see it when the weather is really bad.
The library is open one hour ..... and the games were from the 1950's and pieces missing in all of them - bring your own.
The maitre'd does not come to the table .... you only see him in front on tip day.
I HATE TO COMPLAIN .... I REALLY DO.... I LOVE CRUISING - BUT THIS WAS THE WORST SO FAR.
