Why is it that 5 days at work drag, but 5 days aboard a ship fly by? Embarkation (vip) was a breeze, except for the confication of my rum. (oh well I tried). RCCL is EXTREMELY SECURE about alcholol. We saw them even open up packs of soda to make sure it was just cans of soda.
We were on board by 11 am, eating lunch and touring the ship. This ship is awesome. My favorite place was the covered solarium with the hot tub and walk into heated pool.
Our room was a large balcony with a sliding glass door and large spacious room. The bed was rounded at the end (kind of romantic!).
The food was great and the new menus are super. Our servers Casa and Michael were top notch.
The entertainment, not so much. Kenny james (star search winner) Puppetier with Chucky, and a Man of 1000 voices. The singer and dancers didn't perform till the very last night. It's a production called City of Dreams, and it was fantastic with what we saw. There were many technical difficulties and due to the fact that the show started at 9 pm and luggage had to be outside your door by 10pm, people were leaving in the middle of the show. Steve (CD) was really good.
Disembarkation was a breeze with self disembark. We were off the ship by 730, picked up the car and home by 10am.
We can't wait to sail with her again.
