FOOD-tasted good enough, BUT so little variety (just like Carnival) selection was poor and very restricted and you were sick of the food by mid week. of course the variety resturants were extra money..boo...one fee should get you all.
YOUR FLIGHT HOME- dont listen to NCL advise on book flight for night time. dont do this, then your stuck with all your heavy luggage ALL day long. get a flight out in the early afternoon. NCL states this so you will take one of their last day excursion that will take your luggage and hold it for you, its their last attempt to make a few more bucks off of you. They tell you not to book til evening flight incase ship does not come in on time, thats BS, they cant afford NOT to dock in time.
EXCURSIONS-expensive thru the ship and they pump up and inflat the appeal of the excursion, read all reviews carefully.
CATCHING A COLD FROM THE SHIP- use the hand santizer they have outside every room, I wasnt diligent and i got VERY sick, one of the worst upper respiratory infections of my life. it was my fault for not being diligent, dont be lazy like me, use them at every turn!!!!!
TV- the TV sucked, like small dark 30yr old TV, but i hear they are remodeling all in Jan 2013
the ship excursion LUAU. worth the 99.00 on thursday night, it was great and recommended
Balcony rooms are a must! Best way to cruise.
SHOWS- were good and recommended.
SERVICE- was excellent!!! tip where your can, they do work hard.
Hot Tubs- they were hot and many of them. the one POOL was cold and not inviting looking.
****Cruises are most fun for couples and older/retired. Not recommend for singles-you will be disappointed.
Cruises are as fun as you make them, get involved in the activities, take advantage of all the free stuff.
