Sail Date: May 2005

Living in sunny central Florida I am used to beach vacations. After having sailed last April aboard the Sensation out of Tampa and just having returned from our cruise to the Eastern Caribe...I will never take another ordinary beach vacation. Imagine staying in a first class hotel with all meals provided as well as entertainment. Then imagine the hotel being in a new and exciting place each morning. That's Cruisin' baby. Now to specifics.

Embarkation: Got a late start as Glory was a late arrival to Canaveral due to inclement weather. We should have boarded around 1300 but could not board until 1930. Wife and I stayed at Cape Caribe Resort the night before so we just returned there and waited out the delay. Felt very sorry for those that had flown in and had to wait several hours with no place to go. All things considered.. embarkation went very smoothly.

Sailing: Our trip out of Tampa last year was a very smooth sailing whether due to Gulf to Caribbean sailing or just better weather. Sailing out of Canaveral was rocky from start to finish. Atlantic sailing? I'm not sure. No seasickness just somewhat irritating.
