Ship Facts: Disney Dream Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Disney Dream Deck Plans
DISNEY DREAM
First off we went on the Dream to celebrate a 30 year old's birthday. i didn't think it was a good choice but the birthday girl says its the "BEST". Only 4 children in our party and they really weren't in our party they kind of went their own way. but

I went on board with high expectations. Things I loved about Disney Cruise

- I loved the rooms, bathtub sink in one area and a closed in toilet and sink which was great.

- Food way too over the top. To many fancy foods on the dinner menu. I love my all American meals and Italian style foods but none of that way too over the top for a simple girl like me. I put this on the things i loved because it was an experience i guess and im sure everyone else enjoyed it. But I absolutely loved breakfast and lunch buffet

-comfort +++++ room bed pillows everything great

-They let you bring alcohol .. Fabulous. We still bought our drinks but it helped us stay buzzed i guess.

Things i didn't like was

-customer service... It was a shocker but true. The employees looked over worked. which in all the ships Ive been on i didn't really see.

-21+ entertainment this is not a party ship don't expect to party hard. People all married and when they aren't with the kids they are about each other which is great but not for what we were there.

-no casino but we got to go take a bus to atlantis and play some slots

-of all this i hated the drill at the beginning of the cruise it was soooo long i would say 30 min and the after math was horrible and another 20 min to get to our rooms.

-I also had a big issue with the customer service at the excursions desk because they wired me on to a paragliding excursion because the others in my stateroom requested it. They had no authorization to charge my card and said they were going to because i didn't cancel my excursion after a big headache of a total amount of 30 minutes they asked me to wake up early and come see them in the morning i left pretty irate but i came back in the morning and they were speaking amongst themselves about my situation, like i couldn't hear them. I was so frustrated at the moment that i asked to speak to her. She kept going on and on about how she couldn't do anything about it. I demanded that they not take out any unauthorized funds out of my bank or they would not hear the end of it. then she made me wait another 15 mins and said to bring the proof of error and they would take care of it. They never ever compensated me for my time wasted. But

God saw everything and He compensated my friend which because it was her birthday he gave her a free 2nd ride. She was so happy.

over all i probably will not return on the Disney Dream way over rated
