My Carnival Ecstasy Cruise review is for the no nonsense, straight with no chaser traveler.

Day 1 - Embarkation at Port Canaveral was quick, pleasant & simple. Just have your boarding pass info and photo id/passport readily available & b4 you know it you will be on-board the Lido deck having lunch & sipping something with an umbrella & fruit.

Day 2 - Nassau. AAAHHH!!! I suggest taking a $5.00 taxi & going to Paradise Island to shop & swim. We ventured to the Atlantis Hotel & spent the day in Aqua-venture. It is a 141-acre water park complete with pools, mile long lazy river, river rapids, waterfalls & access to the ocean. The price of our water park ticket included a tour of The Dig. This is an underwater aquarium of the "Lost city of Atlantis." Amazingly we watched Moray eels, various colored tropical fish,glowing jellyfish (no lie), piranhas & more. Later we toured the hotel's "Madison Avenue shops" & had a drink @ the bar while listening to live music. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Read more
