We stayed pre cruise at hyatt pier 66 fort lauderdale which was close to pier and cost less than $10 cab ride to get there. They had a shuttle but charged $8pp plus tip. We arrived approx 12pm and were on in less than 10 mins. Tip-make sure you have the paper bag tags with your cabin no. already on your bags. We had them with our travel docs but didnt know what they were. We were allowed into our rooms at 1pm. Dont even bother going to the windjammer as previous reviewers say unless you like playing rugby! Waaay too many people and is always packed, the only time we managed to get in was on port days when everyone had left ship early. I though the breakfast in Opus dining room on level 3 was just as good and no que's. You can order off the menu or use the buffet, we also did this for lunch a couple of times and the make your own salads were unbelievable. Park cafe was our next best option with a toasted panini, fresh fruit salad etc. We usually grabbed breaky here for our boys(they always sleep in)and took it back to the room for them. We had room service on the first day and ate it on our balcony which was great. We had dinner every night in the main dining room and our waiters bongay and audrey was outstanding. Our meals were quick and bongay always suggested what he thought was the best meal and when i couldnt decide between 2 he brought me both!! He also gave us plenty of tips on what to do on the days in port.We never tried any of the other restaurants because the service we were given was unbelievable.

Ports - Haiti was just a beach really, the locals were persistent which made me youngest quite uncomfortable but the aqua park was heaps of fun. Jamaica-again locals were all over you and very aggressive and i couldnt wait to get out of there. We hired a local guy to drive us to montego bay and spent about 4 hours and he charged us $100. He took us past the millionaires houses thru falmouth and montego baywhere the locals live and we spent about an hour at the beach. Cozumel-our favourite port, we did the xtrail wild tours through mud and water and had a blast. Afterwards we caught a cab into town and wandered around the shops.

Entertainment- I would highly recommend the aqua show, they're awesome. We went to the ice show but when someone starts singing my husband goes to sleep so not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. We went to the family comedy show and my kids complained they couldnt hear the jokes cos i was laughing too much, it was absolutely hilarious and i only wish i had been to their earlier shows.
