Sailed from New Orleans on Nov 25th. Down side was the late departure. We did not leave port until after dark . For those of us wishing to view the Great Mississippi River, well, that was a negative. First day at sea the weather was wonderful. Lots of lounging around the pool, and people watching. The ship overhaul was obvious on the Lido deck ,Guys Burgers is awesome.

Second day at sea the weather was not so obliging. It rained off and on most of the day. The crew moved the pool games indoors on deck 3. There was pleanty to do if you were informed . Luckily the main theatre had three shows to see. The two new ones were the best. Brits , and also Divas were great!. We arrived at Hondouras on time. There was no delay going ashore as another passenger suggested in his review. We had an excursion planned thru Carnival. It was ziplining and beach break. The ziplining was fun! although scarey since the rain made it impossible to slow down .. Warning! if your thinking of this in the rain.

We then went to Tabyana Beach.. Awesome beach! We were able to stay and take the late shuttle back to the ship. I highly recommend Tabyana Beach break to anyone looking for a good beach in Roatan . Next stop Belize. If you do the barrier reef snorkel and beach break. The snorkeling was great! The reef is alive and there are tons of beautiful fish. The beach break time is one hour.. Only one hour, then they tell you lets go.. No extra time! That was a negative to this excursion.

8381 Nice deck, nice cabin. Great view.. But.. there is a noise from the steward preparation area across the hall. It starts at 11 pm every night, and goes for about 30 minutes. Then at about 4-5 am it sounds like a race of carts above the cabin. Not sure where the noise comes from. But it woke us up every night without fail. We would not book this cabin again because of the noise. If you do, Bring ear plugs or a sound machine.. It is that bad. 8383 and 8385 have the same trouble.
