The BreeZer's BeeZs 1st ever Social at Sea cruise B2B

Sail Date: November 2012
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

This was the 2nd leg of the B2B..We disembarked and were led by a rep to the customs area then to a waiting room.. what were were told was it would "not" be long but 2 hours later that was out the window.. now coffee, tea or cold beverages were offered during the long wait which would have helped keep things calmer..

After we were cleared to go back on board it took minutes and we had our spot by the Red Frog Rum Bar and Colin( may favorite server) looking after us.. WE really enjoyed the Thirsty Frog Red Ale in the 100oz Tubes.. 7 in less then 2 hours between 10 BeeZ..

Once everyone was on board the deck party mid ship started.. Butch and 6-3 did a fantastic job getting the party started and we danced and drank until it was time to go for dinner..Back in the Main dining room to table 720 second deck with a group of 10 we have been with for the 2 day..Sergio, Norbert and Derik did an amazing job the whole time we were on board.Lots of great food to try and the best More service we have had yet.

Down to the Ovation theatre for the entertainment by the singers and dancers.. We saw Divas 1st..let just say Carnival did not disappoint.. the new high tech upgrades sure brought out the fabulous stages shows and the feeling of being a real Las Vegas style productionAfter the show we went and hung out on the Cove balcony and readied ourselves for our 2 sea day ahead..
Lets just say the 25th of Nov will be one for Carnival's record books.. we hosted the 1st ever social at sea to raise funds for St Judes.. it was booked as a private party in the Piano bar 2 hour open bar with dry snack for $200 pp which included the tip..but we had a 50/50 draw and raised $121 for the kids from a small gathering for 58 people from the US and Canada( a note Socials are a traditional way of raising funds for charity from Manitoba Canada where thousands of dollars can be raised in one evening)Butch the CD for our cruise was asked to draw the winning ticket for the 50/50 draw and make the donation to St Judes on our behalf..
The service and the social was really good no-one went empty handed, no watered down drinks and we could get anything we wanted..One of our servers when Bee nanas and managed to collect all kinds of Bee wear by the end of the cruise including decorations for her cabin..
I have to say a special thank you to wepromoyou.com for the Bee shirts and name tags, button etc... We were the best dressed group thanks to them.

After the social it was time for dinner again so off to the Main dining room for lobster night..My Dh has the record for Carnival of most lobster tails eaten in one sitting so tonight he was going to try and tie if not beat it..and our servers did not disappoint but my hubby tummy did not agree.. lets just say.. his record is still safeAfter dinner it was time for the Brits stage show.. this was a fabulous presentation of all the classic British songs of the 60-and 70's with the funky dress etc.. The performers did a great job as usual
Off to bed early after a long day

Day 2 at sea.. a lot of Hasbro games, Bingo, and Trivia...
We did the Punchliner club for Brunch.. huge mistake..This is the only complaint we have about this cruise..We were seated with in 10 minutes of getting in line then waited nearly and hour and half for breakfast..Terrible..We really wished they would have left things alone and had breakfast offered in the main dining room on all days.. Carnival needs to fix this..
After breakfast we went and walked the ship..found lots of dead zones.. walk up one set of stairs only to find a blank wall and have to walk another deck to stairs to get to where we wanted to go..oh well burned a few extra calories..

Balance of the cruise: Grand Turk was awesome did and excursion thru CCL to the wall.. loved it, missed La Romana due to medical emergency( still can't believe people actually were selfish and uncaring enough to go and complain about missing the port and wanting compensation,Hope you stay well and don't need medical help at anytime in your life)Curacao was a nice port and Aruba was a favorite must do again..We went to De Palma Island and had a great time and a great meal..

We loved the Breeze and our servers and would highly recommend this ship, itinerary, and Carnival to anyone.. looking forward to the next time we sail Less

Beach Break

We booked the De Palm Island beach break.. it iwas a great place to visit.. Chicken Fingers, Hot dogs and Burgers with fries on the menu and free open bar. There is 3 Lagoons to choose from all have dead corral bases so there is a hard bottom wear water shoes when possible.. Snorkelling is available .. lots of fish to see but lots of Garbage on the bottoms.. not ver clean .. Bird poop on the chairs and now personal chair service from the bar..This one was just Ok for us but the scenery of Arubas manin Island would bring us back

Cave Tour

(4)
A nice way to spend 3 hours after missing La Romana.. the caves are amazing, the distillery gave out samples of 2 types of Curacao ( one orange one coffee) you can go back for seconds..the Museum was very hot but a great place to walk a round

Catamaran tour

(5)
We had a fabulous time at the wall..free beverages and muffins on the way back .. special attention was paid to new snorkelers with one on one training.. Awesome!!
