We had heard a lot about the standard of service and quality of food and we were not disappointed. We arrived in Rome at about 7am and had a private shuttle booked for 11.30am to take us to the ship. So a long wait at the airport.At 12.15pm we were still waiting to be transported, as our driver wanted a full cab.After a few angry words we drove to the port at 12.30pm at a speed well exceeding the speed limit.

Check in the the port was a breeze and we were in our room within 15 minutes. A bottle of champagne and basket of fruit was waiting in our room. The room was spacious and we found there was sufficient space to store all our belongings. Our room was underneath the gym and whilst we had read about the noise we did not seem to notice it.

The bathroom was spacious and the shower with its jets was wonderful. The balcony was of a good size and a wonderful place to relax and read. The relaxation room at the front of the ship was also a good place to just chill. Read more
