Ship Facts: Oasis of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Oasis of the Seas Deck Plans
Oasis of the Seas. Nov 24 2012 Cabin 10 620. Ocean view Balcony Ports of call....Labadee, Falmouth Jamaica, Cozumel Mexico

Little background on us....we are a married couple just entering senior hood...

We sailed on the Grand Princess the previous week and then scooted down the pier to get on the Oasis for 7 wonderful days. We are Platinum on Royal Caribbean. We sailed Allure last november and liked it so much decided to do Oasis.

Can't say enough good things about this ship...if you are considering won't regret it. Ate at Chops Grill and found the food to be excellent and very well presented...also ate at Giovanni's, loved it all! The Dining room was not my favorite, but there was always something to our liking and we never went away a small comparison to Princess (on which we are Elite) my opinion is that Princess food is better tasting but RC has more dining choices.

The entertainment has to be the best at sea....I suggest you make all your show reservations online early in order to see it all...the shows are full and sell out..especially the comedy club. Don't miss any of the scheduled shows. There are lots of shows and activities that do not require reservation.. Do not miss them including Splish Splash, Lots of stuff in the Aqua Theatre..Belly Flop Contest...Worlds sexest Man Contest....3D movies (we saw newly released Rise of the Guardians). Many opportunities for pictures with the Dreamworks Characters.... the 70's Party and especially the Farewell Party are just not miss them....Even if you have seen some of these, Ricky Matthews makes it all seem new again..

Ricky Matthews was the CD and he and his assistant Patricio do a terrific job of scheduling events . Don't miss Quest. Ricky asked for things I have ever heard before in any quest game ...made it so much more fun!

Our first time in Falmouth and I must admit I liked it...we did not leave the port area but there were many, many shops right there...suggest you take a group excursion here since I understand some of the locals outside the port area are a little aggressive. Labadee was a great beach day with average BBQ fare. Only shopped the Port area in Cozumel...been here many times...Great silver deals here..

Our cabin was an ocean view balcony...last, year we had central park balcony and didn't like it because felt we had to keep the curtains drawn all the time...find RC cabins a little limited in space, but If you stay neat you can make it work for7 days... Lots of visitors from all over the world with lots of languages heard all around the ship.

We did express walk off...started at 6:15am...we were at the airport at 7 am. Piece of cake!

All in all we had a great time on Oasis..... Looking forward to our next voyage with Royal Caribbean..
