This is my second cruise on the Sapphire Princess and Princess can be blamed for the declining food quality and entertainment.
The food quality was extremely poor, in fact I lost weight on the cruise.
The dining room service was very slow. If we started at 5:30 we never got out for the 7 PM early show. So we began to eat in the Horizon Court which seemed to vary as to the quality of the food, although it was slightly better.
Entertainment was highly questionable. The production shows by the Sapphire Singers and Dancers were however excellent. Just wish they had more over the 28 day period as well as more comedians. Individual singers, piano players and violists are not major shows.
The Scholarship at Sea programs were excellent.
Not Princess fault was the amount of rude people. I was pushed with a cane and told to get "out of the way sonny". Little old ladies are nasty. I had two problems and my wife had two as well. Never before have we run into this degree of rudeness.
Was very disturbed to learn that an elite member who booked after us paid $1800 less got a better room. We booked with a major Internet agency.
