I booked this cruise from Bari to Venice (6 nights) as it was a cheap way to find out what this cruising is like. I can't say I liked it. In the end I filled out the questionnaire they give you and found 20 points of complaints.

Main complaint is that this ship had deck names of classical music, but no classical music to be heard at all. Not on the TV menu or radio and the 2 violinists play only popular tunes, not classical. So I think the man who gave these names was a fool. I found it an insult to use names that do not at all describe what you get. I wrote them better to call the ship LAS VEGAS, as that is what you get, a Las Vegas casino boat and Disneyland entertainment.

I found all to be very unsophisticated. Lots of people with jeans and tattoos. Dress code mentioned in daily info but nobody sticks to that, On Gala Evening pictures that one can buy I saw that most people did not wear a tie or costume, some even just a T-shirt, on Gala Evening !! So that is an insult too, to deceive people with a "dress code" that means nothing.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8

11072, small cabin, noisy, stained carpet, poor decoration (tulips but why not real ones?), bad sound isolation from corridor. Good closet space. Nice enough balcony, but on this part of ship cabin is smaller, with just a one-seater sofa (not 2). Bigger are the cabins above the life-boats, in middle of ship as there there are no inside cabins.
