Embarkation was prompt despite apparent disorganization. We had to wrap our paper luggage tags with plastic so that they stayed on the luggage. We had two excursions, one in Le Harve and one in Cherbourg and each was well worth the time and money. Cannot say the same for the excursion in the Azores which was not so amazing. Then we had 7 sea days before we ended up in Florida. These days were blessed with sun and small waves.
The activities were many and many were organized by Cruis Critic members. Once again we had great company at dinner where we had assigned seating and got to know and enjoy the company we had. The specialty restaurants had excellent food, but the main dinning room had some really bad fish dishes, and most at our table sent the dishes back. Only the beef eaters enjoyed their meals.
The computer systems was over-burdened and slow. The ILounge was small and very under-staffed. Over all the ship was well maintained and clean and the service was very good through out the ship.
Someone in command should see to a complete overhaul of the chef's crew in order to get edible food back on board. We have been on the ship before and on her sister ship, the Soltice and have no memory of such poor food quality.
The computer services should be expanded and the staff increased.
The cruise was fun and enjoyable throughout the trip.
