We did not know what to expect on our first cruise, but all of our expectations were met and then some.

The Carnival Valor is a beautiful ship, with wonderful staff, and ohh the food!

We made a stop in Belize and went on the coral gardens tour and shark ray alley with Coral Breeze Limited. There were only 6 people on the boa, and 3 crew members. They were very nice and informative. The tour lasted five hours and cost around 69.00 with lunch included (about half what the ship charges plus you get the personal attention). Our second stop was Isla Roatan. We took a taxi to the Luna beach resort, and once again the people were very nice. While the island is very primitive, the resort is extremely nice and we felt very safe there. (FYI: The resort is where Temptation Island was filmed) Next stop was Grand Cayman where we went to Stingray City with Soto cruises. There were only 4 of us on this boat, and again we paid about half of the cruise ship excursion price. This was approx. 3 hours, and well worth 30.00 per person. The last stop, Cozumel, we took a taxi to Playa Mia. They charge 12.00 entrance fee, and you have use of kayaks, floats, paddleboats, etc... You could pay an additional fee for all inclusive beer & liquor. This is definitely party central in Cozumel (the party boat docks there and stays for a few hours). This cruise is not for relaxation. There is so much to do, that you are on the move all day long. We had a wonderful time and I hope this info helps you to have a great time too!
