ECLIPSE is a gorgeous ship from stem to stern. The crew was friendly and accomodating to the extent that they could be.

The Internet service needs to be looked at. I had to wait two hours just to get my laptop modified for use. Normally, one only has to find a computer, sign in with your card and then select the plan that you want. That was a bad way to get started on a cruise. Also, the ship's computers are at classroom style tables so you don't have any real privacy. These are the same computers used for classes so if classes are going on, you're out of luck. The staff was very cordial and held up well under the passenger onslaught. I don't blame them, I blame the process.

There were very long lines returning to the ship in Le Havre and Cherbourg in bitter cold, no less. I saw another gangway on a lower deck available but passengers were not directed to it. Again, the crew was doing the best they could but the process and available scanning equipment needs work.
