Ship Facts: Celebrity Century Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Century Deck Plans
Delightful Fall Cruise to Hawaii on the Celebrity Century
This, our 10th cruise (3rd round trip to Hawaii), was our 1st cruise with Celebrity. It was a delight from start to finish with many many positives and very few negatives. We checked in at about noon and were in our stateroom (9066 on deck 9) by 1:00 PM. The slowest part of the pre-boarding process was simply getting through security; the line was long. Once through port security and in Celebrity's hands, the process was fast and efficient.

The weather was great for the entire trip; very little rain, lots of sunshine, warm temperatures and moderate to light sea condtions. The ship was quite stable. We found our cabin to be very comfortable and our cabin steward was top notch. Once we exchanged our pillows for softer ones and got a smaller robe for my wife (the cabin had two XL sized robes) we were comfortable for the rest of the cruise. An informational note: if you want a shady balcony on the trip to Hawaii, pick a starboard side cabin; if you want a sunny balcony on the trip to Hawaii, pick a port side cabin. Ours was on the starboard side and it worked out best for our preferences.

The ship overall was well laid out and well maintained. It was easy to find our way around. The public areas were nicely staffed and there was a variety of enjoyable venues. We especially enjoyed the music groups that played throughout the ship.

The food in the dining room was very good to excellent. The service was excellent and the wait staff were very efficient. The food at the Island buffet was good to very good. The hamburgers on deck 11 were excellent as were the french fries. The homemade ice creams were very good, especially the pistachio, butter pecan and cinnamon.

We tendered at Kailua-Kona and docked at the other ports. The tender process was a bit slow, but we made it on time to our privately arranged tour.
