After cruising the Eastern Mediterranean on the MSC Musica we boarded the Fantasia in Genoa with high expectations.
Ther were no towels in the cabin on arrival and we had to chase around to find some. They then took 3 days to supply a bath mat.
Our waiter in the dining room could not get the orders right which caused delays not only to us but on other tables.
The bistro was dirty and the overall service was lacking.
We had a great cruise on the Musica but were let down by the Fantasias service and attention to details.
Also the tours offered by MSC on the western Mediteranean leave a lot to be desired we do not like being loked in a non airconditioned room and subjected to high pressure to buy carpets.
Also we problems occured with the embarkation after one tour the crew could organnize a safe method of informing and directing passengers to the new embarkation point.
At disembartion in Genoa we were asked to pick up our passports on the 16th decfk but on arrival there was no ships representative in attendance and no information for 1.5 hours.
