Sail Date: May 2005

Our sailing left on Saturday May 14, 2005, for an Eastern Caribbean itinerary, our party was four people and we had an inside cabin on Rivera deck 14.

We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale two days before the cruise departed and stayed in a hotel on the Galt Ocean Mile in Ft. Lauderdale, we did not use Princess for this booking because they were a higher price and they only offered one day prior to the cruise not two.

After our stay in Ft. Lauderdale we caught a cab from our hotel to the dock. When we arrived at the dock we pulled directly to the luggage collection area. We gave our luggage directly to the workers because we had already tagged our luggage with the tags that were provided in our packet that was mailed to my residence. I strongly recommend tagging your luggage before arriving at the dock. After dropping our luggage we proceeded to get inline for boarding. Although our boarding time was 1:00 pm we arrived about noon and there was no problem, the line to board was bout 35 minutes. When we arrived at the front of the line they separated us into lines by the deck our stateroom was on. That line was about 15 minutes. At the counter they requested our birth certificates, tickets, and a credit card for each person for the shipboard account. Once onboard we proceeded directly to our room and to our surprise our luggage had already been delivered.
