Ship Facts: Monarch of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Monarch of the Seas Deck Plans
Just back from Monarch of the Seas
Left Pt Canaveral on 29th Oct and found out that we were having a sea day 1st instead of Coco Cay. That was moved to the last day of our cruise due to damage from Sandy. The day at seas was o.k. - we didn't find much to do that we were interested in. 1st night was not that super if you weren't into 70's and Disco Music. The movies they had on board were old and not good. The entertainment was great in the Sound of Music Theater - enjoyed the dancing/singing shows and both of the comedians.

Really enjoyed Nassau - just walked around and walked to Junkaroo Beach. It wasn't in great shape due to Hurricane Sandy but it was being worked on. Later in the evening we took a taxi to see the aquarium at Atlantis. Since it was after 6 p.m. it didn't cost us anything. It was beautiful after dark.

Coco Cay was our last day and it was okay but Hurricane Sandy had really taken it's toll. Lots of brown trees and vegetation. Didn't care that much for the

barbecue there - lines were long and food just o.k.

Liked most all of the food in the dining room, hit and miss in the Windjammer. Pizza was o.k. in Sorrentos. We didn't partake of the midnight buffet but friends said it was good.

We carried our luggage off the ship - what a nightmare. There was supposed to be a line but people getting off the elevator kept cutting in line and no one from Royal Carribean was around to control the situation.

Would I do this itinerary again - yes!

Happy Cruising.

Gail
