My wife and I were scheduled to fly from Indianapolis to New York with Princess Cruise/Air. Even though there were direct flights, we were scheduled to leave at 4:00AM for the airport to make a 6:20 flight. The first leg was to fly South to Atlanta, and connect to LGA. Like trying to scratch your right ear with your left hand.

Upon arrival we were met and put on buses. Once on the bus we were told we had no ship to board that day, as the Golden Princess was weather delayed off Cape Hatteris, and would not arrive until the next day.

We were taken to the embarkation pier to be processed, and told we would all be put up in a NYC hotel and Princesses expense and receive $100 per passenger food allowance for the inconvenience. It was fair, but trying to find about 2,000 people hotel space took a long time. Fortunately, it was a Sunday so finally we got to a hotel 6 hours later. Still had not had any food yet for the day.
