My Husband & I are early 40's, active couple. We are Diamonds in the RCCL Crown & Anchor Society. This was my first "short" cruise. Needless to say, compared to the Carnival Dream cruise we took in May,this cruise was perfect. We were married on the Majesty in 1998 so going back to the sister ship for our anniversary was a great trip!
The service, impeccable. The ship, very clean despite it's age. Yes, it is small, we've been on all the Voyager/Freedom/Oasis class ships, but still had its charm. Easy to navigate.
The food, as good as the Allure, in fact some of the same menus/items. Windjammer was fine as well. We are not that picky. Had any time dining and our waiters made sure we had no complaints.
The shows, only went to one, the comedian, very funny.
The gym. I'll just say, this ship had about 1/2 of the Carnival Dream and was lighter/brighter and the same size as the Carnival gym. The spa also seemed all new.
The room, comfortable, small, but we were not in there but to sleep. Shower pressure very good, like a rain shower head.
The pool, because of the time of year, we found chairs at the pool everyday with no problem.
The ports, was just in Nassau in May, we stayed on the ship. Very nice day. Coco Cay was a perfect day, most relaxing. Weather was picture perfect every day.
Not one complaint to be had. Thank you for a nice memorable anniversary trip RCCL and sad to see the Monarch go, as it and the Majesty once ruled the Caribbean :)
