Dining: Excellent. Loved the dining room food each and every night. By far the best we have had on RC, Celebrity or Princess. WE tried a specialty dining at Chops and it was absolutely terrible. Bland steaks and not great cuts of meat.
Also know, that you can't order "extra meals" in the specialty restaurants anymore. There is a upcharge.
ROOMS: Meh. Very average. Nothing special here.
Pools: Like everything on this ship and the main reason we will never go on it again, much too crowded.
THE BAD: Cruise Director AMY - Why and how did this girl get this job? I mean seriously, could you be less fake? I'm a male and I even caught this one. Everyone we cruised with agreed. She has to go.
Invasion of privacy. The cabin steward and room attendants would go through our stuff! When it was brought to their attention he simply said "sir it clearly states that we are allowed to go through your things." I thought that was odd because they would pull out our luggage from under our bed and go through it! Highly uncool.
Upcharge and upsell for EVERYTHING. To us this ruins the cruise. Constant upcharges everywhere. Enough already! Just charge more for the damn cruise if you must.
Specialty Dining at Chops: Horrible
No Cigar lounge or bar.
Lines and crowds are insane and our ship was only booked at 4500 people. Good luck on your 40 min wait to ride the Wave Rider for 2 mins.
Windjammer- what did they do to it? I think they should look to Freedom of the Seas for a reminder of how a buffet should be setup. The new Windjammer design is horrible.
Ports- Just terrible. Go on this ship for the ship. Falmouth Jamaica is a joke of a port. Labadee is only cool if you drop the extra $$ on a private Cabana and Cozumel is purposeless unless you're a Diver.
THE GOOD-
ENTERTAINMENT - by far the best you will find on a Cruise
You get to say you're on the big ship
The dinners in dining room are excellent
Good drinks
Promenade is a good focal point
