The california coastal on the sapphire is our fourth princess cruise and was chosen for its ports. We live in new york so i think we were in the minority of passengers since many people seemed to be locals.the sapphire seems to have come out of her sprucing up looking wonderful.

We had a minisuite which i consider the best cabin on any cruiseline for the money. And as usual our cabin steward was first rate.

As a matter of fact the entire crew seemed as newly polished as the ship itself. The waitstaff in the international dining room, traditional, was great. And Mainer the matre'd was the best. He made every meal delightful. Read more
