the Serenade of the Seas was leaded by the only female Captain in the fleet. We were very excited about it and waited the Captain's night anxiously to meet her and congratulate her on this achievement. What a disappointing surprise when she just ignored me when addressing her accomplishments and talking to her about the excitement we had. She never smiled for us, not even once.
Other than that, the ship is just OK. After being at the Adventure of the Seas this ship looked older, smaller and less fun. however, the Cruise Director was phenomenal! Just amazing! If it weren't be because of him we'll probably die of boringness. The spa was OK and the staff there was very friendly and polite.
The shows were good but I would expect more of the WOW factor and better quality dancing shows. The comedian was great, though.
The food was spectacular and the servers were incredibly kind, service oriented and friendly. No complaints on the food at all levels.
The ship is good for couples, relaxation and for first-timers. But if you want fun, lots of activities and excitement book on the Oasis class or the Adventure of the Seas, instead.
