A relaxing experience!

Sail Date: December 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: San Juan

the Serenade of the Seas was leaded by the only female Captain in the fleet. We were very excited about it and waited the Captain's night anxiously to meet her and congratulate her on this achievement. What a disappointing surprise when she just ignored me when addressing her accomplishments and talking to her about the excitement we had. She never smiled for us, not even once.

Other than that, the ship is just OK. After being at the Adventure of the Seas this ship looked older, smaller and less fun. however, the Cruise Director was phenomenal! Just amazing! If it weren't be because of him we'll probably die of boringness. The spa was OK and the staff there was very friendly and polite.

The shows were good but I would expect more of the WOW factor and better quality dancing shows. The comedian was great, though.

The food was spectacular and the servers were incredibly kind, service oriented and friendly. No complaints on the food at all levels.

The ship More is good for couples, relaxation and for first-timers. But if you want fun, lots of activities and excitement book on the Oasis class or the Adventure of the Seas, instead. Less

Cabin review: Serenade of the Seas Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom Deck 7

The balcony room was spacious and well deocrated. The balcony itself was OK. We were at the 7th floor and could see the bridge from our cabin. It was very cool watching the officers on the bridge having a cup of coffee every morning while arriving to the ports.

The island was better than expected. The falls we visited were nice. However, the tour was so fast that we barely had time to relax and enjoy the views. The park we visited was quite and beautiful. The island is a little different from the other islands.

The best port of the Caribbean indeed. Has the cultural (history & architecture) touch as well as renowned shops, great restaurants and friendly people. And the weather is perfect!

Just OK. Another Caribbean island with no wow factor.

It is great to have this tiny island on the schedule. It is divided into two regions because belongs ot the Dutch and France. Orient beach was cool as well as the casinos.

Lovely UK Virgin Islands. The island is beautiful, calmed and and oasis of peace. Loved the sightseeing and the people. Very organized and clean.
