the Serenade of the Seas was leaded by the only female Captain in the fleet. We were very excited about it and waited the Captain's night anxiously to meet her and congratulate her on this achievement. What a disappointing surprise when she just ignored me when addressing her accomplishments and talking to her about the excitement we had. She never smiled for us, not even once.

Other than that, the ship is just OK. After being at the Adventure of the Seas this ship looked older, smaller and less fun. however, the Cruise Director was phenomenal! Just amazing! If it weren't be because of him we'll probably die of boringness. The spa was OK and the staff there was very friendly and polite.

The shows were good but I would expect more of the WOW factor and better quality dancing shows. The comedian was great, though.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

The balcony room was spacious and well deocrated. The balcony itself was OK. We were at the 7th floor and could see the bridge from our cabin. It was very cool watching the officers on the bridge having a cup of coffee every morning while arriving to the ports.
