We really enjoyed the 7 night eastern caribbean cruise of FOS.
The kids enjoyed the activities for their ages (Voyagers and Youth).
Be careful of the arcade... the costs add up quickly. You can limit your child's sea pass account once you get on board.
The family loved the pools, flow rider, rock climbing wall, putt putt, ice skating (take long pants and socks and even long sleeves).
The entertainment shows were all outstanding.
THe kids and adults both did the cup cake decorating class... which was fun.
Dinner every night was quite good.
About the only issue we had was our dinner wasn't over until 9:30 or 10 and after 10 there is a charge for Adventure Ocean (kids area). But the kids enjoyed it and it gave the parents a chance to go to shows.
Our week was the first week of the new soda machines. If you purchased the soda package you get a cup with a sensor which operates the soda machine. So it was challenging for the kids to keep up with their cups all week.... plus a little gross because you could rinse it out but not really wash it.
The sensor is not linked to anyone's seapass account... so anyone can pick up a cup lying around the pool deck and have sodas the rest of the week. You have to pay to get the cup replaced if you lose it or it is stolen. My son's was taken out of his backpack while on CocoCay. I went through 4 customer service people before getting the cup replaced. I think Royal Caribbean needs to rethink this system.
