Our cabin was wonderful - very spacious, plenty of storage. Our Cabin Steward was friendly, accommodating and super efficient. We found the ship to be clean and well cared for. The shows in the main showroom were well done, full of energy and well suited to the clientele. Loved the idea of the "big screen" for outdoor movie but never actually sat out to watch one. Main dining room was super efficient and staff was very friendly. Menu and meals were good - nothing really outstanding but always good. The dining experience was made great because of our table mates! We had a table for 10 and it turned out to be perfect! Ourselves and the couple we were travelling with, 4 women from Australia and a couple from Ecuador. We arrived strangers but departed friends! The roast beef sandwiches in the Solarium were the best! Bailey's Shiver is my new favorite after dinner cocktail! Guest Services personnel were extremely helpful - even assisted with contacting an outside tour agency when then ship itinerary had to be changed at the last minute. Boarding and departing, simple and efficient. Enjoyed the formal nights (2). The Captain's "cocktail party" was just so-so but likely the only way to introduce him to 1700 passengers! It is a shame that seating at the Captain's table is now a "pay" activity rather than by invitation or request.

Cabin review: Junior Suite

JS8048
Cabin 8048 was just about perfect. Wonderful location, port side. Great balcony. Plenty of storage. Good size bathroom with full tub/shower. A little noise when moving the chairs poolside to start and end the day but nothing really bothersome.

Port and Shore Excursions

Acropolis
Highly recommend Context Travel if you like small, intimate groups (6 people max). We had a guide for just our group of 4 - Kelly Bourni with a Master's degree in modern letters from the Sorbonne and a certificate in archaeology from the National School in Athens. She gave us not just a history lesson but insight into the passion and loyalty of the greek people. It would be easy to spend hours in the museum thinking you need to "see everything". Kelly moved us though the museum efficiently and the entire tour was informative and worthwhile.
Port
Took the shuttle from the ship to city center and then wandered around ourselves and just enjoyed the sights.

City Tour
Private island tour was well worth the money. Vangelis Vranikas met us at the port and for the next 5 hours introduced us to the beauty of "his" Corfu - uncrowded, unspoiled, delightful! We stopped for Greek coffee with a few locals in a tiny village near the top of the island, enjoyed grapes fresh from the vines as a treat. When almost 2000 people descend upon anyplace, the destination is changed. Vangelis took us away from the crowds and the "typical" sights to see "his" Corfu. He was charming and delightful and we highly recommend using Taxi Tours Corfu!
Sea Kayaking
Kayaks were in good condition. Guides were great. Weather was perfect! Highly recommend this activity if you like being on the water! Still enough time afterwards to walk through Dubrovnik, enjoy a quick beer in an Irish Pub and take pictures in the cathedral. A near perfect day!
Port
Rented a jeep and went exploring - 60euros for the day! Elias Beach was beautiful and uncrowded. Enjoyed lunch on the beach - fabulous! Once we returned to the city center we enjoyed shopping along the harbour. Great place to "get lost" without the worry of really being lost!
