This review will be a comparison between the Carnival Legend, and the Carnival Dream.
Embarkation- Both were very efficient and were easy to navigate. TIE
Rooms- Had an extended balcony on the Legend regular on the Dream. The extra balcony space matters. Winner- Legend
Spa- Legend had a great spa facility that was free, Dream required a $150 fee to access spa facility. Winner- Legend
Lido Buffet- The Lido buffet n both ships featured a wide variety of food and it was pretty good. Dream had a burrito bar which was amazing and a pasta bar which was also very good. Legend lacked more high end features of the Dream Buffet. Winner- Dream
Dining Room- Had your time dining on each and both were very efficient. However the Dream topped the cake with our waiter Arris. He was fantastic and was literally the highlight of the trip. Request Arris if you are in the Crimson Dining room. Winner- Dream
Entertainment- Both had interesting shows, but WEE JIMMMMMEEEYYY on the Legend was hilarious and always kept the crowd entertained. Steve Kinsley on the Dream was fun but he lacked the slapstick humor that Wee Jimmy possessed. Winner- Legend
Weather- Hit a cold front on the Legend and the sea's were rough, Dream was smooth and clear. Winner- Dream
Ports- Avoid Belize, St Maarten, and Nassau I found these ports dirty and lacked the beauty of some of the other ports. Take excursions on St. Thomas, Roatan, and Cozumel. These ports were beautiful and had some of the best weather of the trip. Winner- TIE
Overall both trips were great and both had a few flaws but you can't go wrong with these ships.
