Alaska 2: Golden Princess Cruise Review by lilmsmuffet

The bridge was great, the More garden has a veggie lunch..My husband loved it..I could not wait for supper on the ship..lol..This next day we are in Tracy Arm..It's rainy and foggy..Could not get up close to the glaciers because of the ice in the water..It happens with late summer cruises..water was beautiful here because of all the waterfalls and melting ice..Next port was Ketchikan and the crab feast..All I can say is if you love crabs..do this..they were so good dipped in the warm butter..I would do this again..Our last port was Victoria and it was dark when we came into port almost..I know from before though this is a very pretty clean little town with rabbits running around everywhere..or there was on our last cruise..so I hope they are still there..Then we are on our way back to Seattle..greeted with a most beautiful sunrise..Got our flight waiting to take us home after a wonderful memory making cruise.. Room D719-A very nice room with lots of places to stretch out..we enjoyed having the sofa to relax on..The balcony was good sized and the day we went through Tracy Arm Fjord we really enjoyed having it..It's quiet on this end of the ship with the laundry just across the hall..Makes touching up those shirts for formal night a whole lot easier.I think I like the shower/tub thing..then you do not have to worry about water on the floor..we were really happy with our room..Only thing is it did rain so maybe a deck up with at least a partial covered balcony would be best later in the Alaskan sailing season..We used our balcony quiet a bit..
