Our trip was on the Sept. 15 cruise. The port of calls are nice. I will make this quick, because everyone has different taste. Not knowing a person, how do you judge their taste? We have been on 14 cruises, and 12 different ships. So I feel we have something to compare to. Dislikes: Dining in the main dining room was terrible. One day we sat for a hour before we got our main course dinner, which was cold. The next night we were done eating within 70 minutes. Then the next night was a repeat of the first night. The food was OK, and not much different then what we saw in the buffet line. Also, we passed the Mat-re De and assistant Mat-re De every night (at least twice), and they never greeted us. We found staff members walking right past us at dinner time, taking photo's of others at other tables and they would skip us. Drink service was bad, not a very good experience. Our room steward was OK. He kept the room tidy, but really not out going like previous room stewards. Several small request went unanswered. We also had a toilet that kept breaking (wouldnt flush). We called guest service at least 5 times to have someone come fix the thing. They came each time, but it got old after the 3rd day, and 3rd call. The lay out of the ship isn't the best. We didn't like the layout for smoker's either. You can smoke on one side of the ship and not the other side, yet you smell the smoke of both sides. On Sunday, if you broadcast a football game, have a signal that is going to last... Likes: Well there is always something to like. I felt the cruise offered a lot of different shows, and movie on the big screen (with popcorn) is always fun. If you like people taking your photo, well they have plenty of staff to capture the moment. I really like the selection of food throughout the day. (Waiting for a hamburger could take some time thou). Embarkation and debarkation was quick and easy. They got this part down to a science. Final thoughts: Skip this ship, and either go on a different Carnival cruise, or find a different cruise line. We do not recommend this cruise ship. The only way I am going back on this ship is on a free cruise, and that only if I can not upgrade to a different ship.

Cabin review: Interior

This room is high, and towards the front of the ship. Only complaint was with the plumbing and all the loud people in the hallway... Geez, for the age on this cruise (65+), older people can be so LOUD.

Port
We walked around downtown Boston. The city has a lot to offer.

Port
A ton of history here. Research a head of time, there is a lot to offer. We walked around town and took in the history, which goes back to the 1700's.
