Just came off the 7 day Nassau, St Thomas, St Marteen w/ 4 other couples...
Overall and incredible experience and would definitely sale an Oasis class ship again. We were the envy at every port of call. You have heard all the positive...a few items RC should really consider given the price point of their cruises.
1 - Charging for soda - $52 for the week or pay as you go is really weak - should be included.
2 - Signing in/out for pool deck towels w/ a $25 non-return policy is inconvenient and sends the wrong message - we don't trust you!
3 - Far too many "upgraded" dining opportunities and fairly limited "free" or "included" offerings that aren't buffet style - very misleading at booking!
4 - Ventilation system in the Casino is deplorable. The smoke was overbearing every time we visited or waled through.
5 - 7 days at sea and on 1 of the 2 sports cable channels, CRICKETS played literally 24/7. No NCAA American college football offered all day Saturday - a huge miss! The "sports" bar on board empty all week long because the CRICKET programming was the only offering - even staff mentioned this is a common complaint. Side note, while docked at Nassau, a CARNIVAL ship 1/2 our size was airing college football on their outdoor pool deck for their guests - a home-run!! Perhaps RC could offer the same at the OceanAria theatre.
6 - Most staff helpful & engaging, but not near the level of Disney. We traveled w/ out kids this time and still a noticeable difference in lack "aggressive hospitality"
7 - Group of 8 did RITA's CANTINA one night - awesome experience, loved it, but ridiculously hot inside. Need to address the AC!
