We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary so chose a longer cruise in a different part of the world than we usually cruise. The flight over meant that we had gone without sleep for over 40 hours before boarding ship. Should have stayed in Barcelona overnight.

The ship was lovely, the wait staff attentive, the drinks prices reasonable, our table mates delightful, and the food excellent. We were in a Suite and Captain Club Select so enjoyed many perks.

There was a problem embarking. At the Duty Free Shop we bought two bottles of wine for our room. Two men at ship said we could not take them to our room. The brochure clearly states that we may. They finally let us go but we resented the hassle.

Huge with way more storage than needed by two people. Bath large enough with great rain shower. Butler, Chip, was very attentive and quick to help with reservations etc. On his own he brought me melted butter for my morning grits. The steward, Charlie, kept us well supplied and our room clean.

Problem was metal chairs scraping against concrete on the bar above our heads. Our deck was completely covered which was nice, but I don't know that I would choose to be on 12 again.
