Princess did an excellent job with the land portion of this and the arrangements. However the ship was very lacking in various ways. First, the food, I'd rather go to Red Lobster for seafood and Outback for beef than dine aboard the CP, portions were small and of poor quality. Numerous passengers noted that their requests for salt free meals, Kosher, etc were not fulfilled. Many of the wait staff seemed to have only limited command of English.

The entertainment was well below what I've experienced on Royal Caribbean, two nights were repeats of the previous night, one night there was nothing.

The cabin had worn out pillows with no support, scratchy towels, the toilet paper was so thin I could read through it, take a roll of your own. Cabins not turned down.

Very hard sell, from the time we stepped onto the gangway and got aboard the ship we had been offered three deals of one kind or another, then there was the wine tasting, cola deal, wine deal, More photos, etc.

The smoking lounge was located off the atrium and the stench from it was obnoxious for many feet in any direction.

It's only fair to say that I'm not criticizing the personnel of the CP, they were doing their best with what they were given.

I'd tell anyone going to Alaska to do the land portion with Princess and the cruise with someone else. Less
