This was our first experience on a Viking River Cruise and we both loved it! The entire staff on the Viking Danube is to be commended. Pleasant, friendly and helpful from the moment we boarded till we said goodbye at the airport.
We both enjoyed the food, entertainment and daily excursions both guided and on our own. While onboard cruising down the Danube, Main and Rhine we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery as our "floating hotel" drifted along.
The information provided at the program briefing each evening before dinner was very helpful in planning our next day's excursions. The local guides were excellent and their suggestions of additional things to see and places to eat, shop, etc. were very helpful.
My husband said, "This is the best vacation I've ever been on!" and I couldn't agree more!
We've already booked another Viking River Cruise for next summer on one of the new long ships and we feel confident that we will have another wonderful vacation!
