My husband and I took our 2 "tween" age grandsons on the gorgeous new Fantasy. We had the great good fortune to stay in 2 adjoining rooms on the concierge level. The boys went to the Edge, the tween center, every night. They met other boys and girls and had great fun there. They enjoyed the Aqua Duck too.
Our table servers made dinner so much fun for them by providing math puzzle games between courses and bringing them smoothies from another area.We all found the pools too crowded.Bingo was a big hit for all of us.My husband and i loved the rain forest area of the spa and the 2 hot tubs off of it that looked out over the ocean.I went to boot camp every morning to keep fit.
The salsa and salsa shore excursion was a big hit...salsa making..brief salsa dance lesson..pinata...and swimming and beach time.
We were on the Western Caribbean route. The adult bar areas on this ship are really worth visiting, especially the Skyline bar with its light- up blue ice cubes and very realistic views of famous cities. This ship is spectacular. It was 100% full, but except for the pool area, we found that we had plenty areas to explore and enjoy. Try shuffleboard on the promenade deck.
One of the best views on the ship is in the men and women's hair salon..almost worth booking a haircut just to experience it!!
Dinner at Remy is a very special experience..but a bit long...and make sure you wear dressy shoes or they comment..i.e no beach type sandals even if they have sparkles!!this is the most expensive ship afloat and the quality shows and amazes. Our grandsons loved it and so did we.We had a great time together at meals and bingo and on shore excursions, and my husband and i had a nice adult time together too.The service was excellent.
On the concierge level, our concierges were unfailing helpful..they even played monopoly with our grandsons while we packed. We will have a wonderful memory thanks to Disney.Next year we are bringing our granddaughter.
