Although we had taken an Alaska cruise four years ago on Celebrity Mercury, my itinerary included Sitka but not Skagway so this seemed the perfect cruise. Embarking in Vancouver went very smooth and very quick and the ship left right on time.

Besides having wonderful service from our waiter and his assistant during late dining in the main dining room, our stateroom attendant was very attentive, always making sure our morning coffee arrived at six thirty in the morning as we had requested. The food in the main dining room was always tasty and lots of choices and recommendations from our waiter. The brunch was outstanding with lots of yummy food selections and entertainment. Our experience in the Olympic specialty dining room was outstanding, both with service and food.

All of the evening production shows were very good and the Celebrity Life classes were all very good. Some teachers were better than others for sure. Because we had done part of this trip before the only shore excursion we did was the White Pass Yukon train ride. We had a very good guide in our car and the weather co-operated for lots of great pictures. The only complaint of this cruise would be the disembarking in Vancouver. They did not seem prepared for three ships all arriving at basically the same time and it was a bit of a madhouse, luckily we did not have a plane to catch. all in all I would definitely sail with Celebrity again although I have also enjoyed several cruises on Royal Caribbean.
