Boarding was easy in Long Beach but we got there early. We brought Rum on board in the in a case of water, large travel cups with straws and the 2 allowed bottles of wine. We still bought drinks on board and while the were overpriced it was worth the experience.
It took a day to get over the minor sea sickness but the next day we went out on the front of the boat from deck 6 and saw whales and dolphins. The food in the buffet was okay but the dining room more than made up for it.
The wait staff was amazing and entertaining. Most staff members were positive and helpful. We explored Cabo on our own. If you do this take a water taxi to Mango Deck. it was a great place to hang out on the beach with a bucket of beers.
Book an excursion for P.V. wandering around in town is a little sketchy. We did a lot of the trivia and other "cruisy" things on sea days. Bingo was fun. The sushi bar is open at weird times and sometimes serves tapas instead but try to catch it open.
The room was small but not bad. It was nice and dark so very easy to nap. Our kids stayed in the room next door which is comfortable with 4 people as long as they clean up after themselves. Turn down service was awesome and the steward makes towel creatures everyday.
The kids had a great time with Club o2 and circle C my kids are 12-17 and we just let them do as they pleased with the exception of meeting us for schoolwork time and dinner. Overall it was great.
