our first day we drove down to Cocoa beach - 10 hour drive.. we stayed at Radisson Resort at the port.. beautiful place ...was $160 and you could leave your car parked there while you were on the cruise and they shuttled you to & from the ship no extra cost.. the package was Stay park & cruise. we got up at 8:30 and got ready and headed down to meet our shuttle.. We got to the port and were on board by noon..would have been much sooner but the person who was supposed to have given us a zone card after the metal detectors failed to do so..by the time we realized we didnt get one we got stuck in zone 12...

We went to get lunch soon as we got on board and ate burgers from the grill by the pool and then explored around the pool & golf area & slides and then had the funship drink ...walked around and sat in some deck chairs for a while.. then we took our stuff to our room at 1:30.. we had an aft balcony on the Upper deck...a decent sized room..i expected it to be smaller... it wasnt spacious either but there was enough room for us.. then we went and explored the atrium and found where our dining room was located then found a spot on the lido deck for sail away.. there was music & dancing as we watched the port slip away.. The first night was pretty rough.. we couldn't really eat dinner from being a little nauseous.. our tablemates at dinner said that was the most rocking they had ever felt on a ship.. for dinner that night I had spinach and artichoke dip for a starter couldnt eat much of it though and i had the grilled flat iron steak for dinner off the every day menu.. only a couple bites and we didnt stay for dessert.. our first towel animal was a dog. we had planned to go to the adult

comedy show but we ended up taking dramamine and going to bed early..

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

our cabin was very nice. the balcony was wonderful.. we were on portside so we got to see things coming into view. plenty of shelving and clothing space ..safe was very tiny though -my purse wouldnt fit in it.. and the showers are very small.. when docking in the mornings if you have an aft cabin youre going to get woke up.count on it. it was also pretty noisy the night before debarkation ..but we loved it and will book a balcony again just not aft.. maybe mid
