Ship Facts: Explorer of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Explorer of the Seas Deck Plans
Terrific experience

The Explorer is a great boat with plenty to do and an outstanding staff!

Some of the review talk about the age of the ship. The boat is 12 years old, but you'd never know except for the dated furniture here or there. Everyting is perfectly clean and in working order.

The staff is terrific. From the stateroom attendant to pool attendants to serving staff everyone is incredibly sweet, very attentive and works hard to make your experience a great one.

The food is better than average, yet not absolutely top-of-the-line, but then again RC isn't a top-of-the-line cruise line either. You most definitely get what you pay for an more.

THE BEST PART: The cruise staff is the best I've ever encountered. Cruise Director Richard Spacey is incredible. Funny, charming, always visible and everyone loves him. He makes the cruise. His staff is outstanding.

I HIGHLY reccomend this cruise. It spends half the week in Bermuda (most ports are now limited to hours), has a great staff, nice rooms and Cape Libery, while out in the middle of nowhere, is really easy to get into and out of. It was the quickest I've ever left a cruise!
