This is my first review and I am writing it because I read a lot of reviews before we took this cruise on the Miracle and saw a lot of complaints. One was about the ship being a bit worn looking. It isn't a new ship for sure, but maintenance was being performed constantly to keep it looking nice.
Another complaint was about the food. We used the Your Time Dining and had delicious dinners every night served by very caring Carnival employees. We went to the Lido buffet for most other meals and were never disappointed. We used room service a few times, which is a great way to start your last day, and were very pleased.
I also read complaints about the employees being rude. We never had anyone working for Carnival be less than courteous to us. From the greetings when you first board to the goodbyes when you leave, we felt valued by Carnival employees.
We saw a show with the Miracle singers and dancers and really enjoyed it. We went to The World's Greatest Showoff starring Bob Bizendine and he was fantastic. Based on his praise of the comedians, Tommy Drake and Donnel Grey, we attended several family shows and an adult comedy show. These performers were so great. We enjoyed that their shows were about the funny things in all our lives and could be told without crude language being overused. We saw Tommy Drake when we went to the Punchliner Brunch and he had everyone in the room hanging on his every word in the 10 short minutes he performed.
I am so glad we took this cruise. For lots of reasons, it turned out to be the best cruise we've ever taken!
