We have just returned from a wonderful holiday on Azamara Journey. Having been dubious about a smaller ship and what it can offer we were very pleasantly surprised.
Food superb, service excellent and nothing too much trouble for anyone on the ship. From the Captain down they all on board aim to give you a great holiday. The captain was very hands on with the passengers and was not aloof and made you feel very much that he was trying his very best at all times for the passengers on the ship.
The Cruise Director, Eric, is very talented and is the first Cruise Director on any ship we have been on participate in the shows and with the passengers throughout the whole Cruise. He is an asset to the company, The entertainment team are all very talented dancers and four very good singers which were a joy to watch. One of the productions without music, although the band was first class, could go into the West End of London.
The choice of ports was also great and no long days at sea. Beautiful scenery and no awful industrial areas miles away from the town like the bigger ships!
Two main restaurants offering a lot of variety and a relaxed and informal yet smart dress code for most of the passengers.
We would book with them again most definitely!
