Liberty of the Seas Cruise Review by Tetamalu: Truly a delightful experience

Truly a delightful experience
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
Our tour started in Amman, Jordan and we flew into Barcelona two days earlier on Royal Jordanian. We were 12 people, mostly seniors, but a three forty and under. Barcelona is a great starting point, and the boarding process was so efficient and organized! The Liberty of the Seas is so large it took us days to find ourselves and the features we could enjoy. But the food--variety, selection and presentation was excellent. All the entertainment and shows were truly professional and unforgettable. We took two tours, on in Toulon to Aix-en-Provence that was really nice, but the excursion to Monaco and Monte Carlo was a disappointment. They were booked from the ship. However in Italy we arranged with Rome in Limo abd here is my letter to them, thanking them for a great tour. At last we are home in Amman trying to keep our feet on the ground!
It was a wonderful trip, made so in Italy by you great service and amazing staff in each and every port.
In Pisa-Florence Marcia and Laura More were so warm and friendly as well as full of information in detail about the monuments. For us..my son Ali, Hala and me her special efforts in getting us to the museums on time was really above the ordinary.
Andrea and Sergio made our brief tour of Rome and the Vatican so delightful. Their command of English is great allowing them to explain in detail the important sites, while finding great parking with the vans making the walking easier. Both took special care of me (I didn't care to do the Vatican tour), treating me to delicious gelato and later a cappuccino while the others toured. It was a great way to get to know both Andrea and Sergio.they are a lot of fun but still considerate and dedicated to their guests.
The weather in Naples turned stormy, but this did not deter our drivers Giovanni and Rafaello And their careful and skillful driving in difficult conditions through a driving rain on the narrow winding road to Sorrento and Positano. We enjoyed the visit to the ceramic factory. However the highlight was the stop at the vineyard/winery where the sampling of their wines was complimented by a delicious light lunch. We were lucky in our short tour of Pompeii with Andrea who carefully and with great humor pointed out the most important details. It made a great impression on us.
We are very glad we chose you firm to see Italy. Smaller vehicles make parking and access much easier, but it was your wonderful staff that made it so satisfactory. Thought you'd like to know.
The crossing from Naples to Barcelona was great--for us--as it was a stormy night and day, so much more exciting than simply cruising across a small quiet pond. We are already planning our next cruise. Less

Cabin review: D18664 Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
Better quality amenities--shampoo and shower gel. Wash cloths or sponges for shower, and a shower cap. Sewing kit needed. There were plenty of hangers, and storage spaces. Bed cover--was a rather heavy duvet, a lighter cover for summer would be better. The AC tended to get cold. Difficult to regulate hot water flow. Ran very hot, water did not have a lot of pressure. Foot stools would be nice on balcony. Good lighting.Read All Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony (D1) Reviews >>
